Debra Adell Maxwell, DVM

Dr. Debra Maxwell is a recent graduate of NC State College of Veterinary Medicine where she specialized in large animal medicine with a focus on ruminant health, but she enjoys working with all species. Debra grew up in eastern North Carolina in Onslow County where she started riding horses at a young age and was an active 4-H participant. Debra also attended NC State for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Animal Science and minored in Nutrition. During her time at NC State, Debra also showed western pleasure through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association on the NC State Western Equestrian Team. She is looking forward to moving back to eastern NC with her dog, Bo, and her horse, Chase. In her spare time, she enjoys trail riding, spending time with her family, or walking her dog. (Source)
