Dr. Arellano lived in Houston, Texas, when her family acquired 2 horses. She was 8 years old at the time and lived and breathed riding from that point forward. She rode and showed horses for many years and pursued her passion of riding! She began working with a veterinarian at age 15 and never looked back. She attended The University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences, and also obtained her DVM degree there in 2002. She founded Orlando Equine Veterinary Care, Inc in 2004. Professional interests include lameness and preventative medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her family. (Source)
