Eastern Equine Associates

Eastern Equine Associates Mobile Veterinary Service is a mobile equine and farm animal veterinary practice started by Emily M Gilmette, DVM in the New Bern area in 2009. We began simple, with a small hand-me-down pickup truck and aging equipment, but we went to work providing the best possible care for the horses in and around the New Bern area.

Over the years the practice has gained traction, horses have been treated and helped, and the client base has expanded and continues to grow. New veterinarians have been added to assist in reaching and treating each horse with quality care and medicine. New therapies, treatments, methods of practice, and equipment have been added to the practice repertoire – all with the goal of helping each client’s horses in every way possible. Our goal has been, and will always be, to provide state of the art medicine, treatments, and therapies to the horses of eastern and coastal North Carolina. (Source)
