Dr. Klayman, a New Jersey native, graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and after a year in mixed animal practice founded Colts Head Veterinary Services, P.C. in 1984.
As a full-service practitioner, Dr. Klayman’s interests include lameness, reproduction, wellness, ophthalmology and dentistry, and keeping abreast of the latest in equine veterinary technology. In addition to traditional medicine, Dr. Klayman practices alternative medicine, having been certified in veterinary acupuncture in 1994 and completing a veterinary chiropractic course in 2002.
Dr. Klayman is a member of AAEP, NJAEP, NEAEP, AVMA, International Veterinary Acupuncture Association, American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, and the New Jersey Farm Bureau. He has served as an officer for the NJAEP and the New Jersey Veterinary Education Foundation.
Dr. Klayman is married with two children. His interests include riding his hunter/ jumper prospect, fishing, spending time with his family and his dogs- Ava & Luna. (Source)
