Liz grew up in Sacramento with all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.) but she credits her godmother for her love of horses. She started riding when she was 9 years old and often accompanied her godmother to local shows during the summer all the way through college. Liz earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis on physiology from UC Davis.
Liz stayed in Davis and received her veterinary degree in May 2021. She developed a strong interest in emergency surgery, especially in colic evaluation and management and laceration repair. She also has a budding interest in internal medicine. Outside of veterinary medicine, Liz enjoys spending time at the beach, working on her many crochet projects, and hanging out with her family.
