Dr. Emily Lockard grew up near Rochester, New York where she enjoyed riding and competing in the local jumper circuit. Dr. Lockard completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology at SUNY Geneseo where she was a member of the school’s varsity equestrian team and worked on a local dairy farm. She then attended the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2019. Following, Dr. Lockard completed an internship at New England Equine Practice in New York, focusing on both ambulatory and hospital care with emphasis on emergency services, critical care, and sports medicine.
