Dr. Emily Ligon grew up in San Diego, California. She moved to Houston, Texas in 2006 and attended Texas A&M University for her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Post graduation, Dr. Ligon pursued an equine internship at Weems and Stephens Equine Hospital in Aubrey, TX. Her clinical interests include all aspects of reproduction and lameness. After work she enjoys playing with her two Old English Bull Dogs, spending time with her husband and pursuing outdoor activities. (Source)
