Dr. Emily Woodward graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Virginia Tech in 2017 with specific emphasis in equine, companion animals, and dairy science. She remained at Virginia Tech for her veterinary education where she graduated with her DVM in Spring 2021.
Dr. Woodward joined the team at Oak Hill Animal Hospital in June, 2021. She is excited for the opportunity to work with all different types of animals, and particularly loves working with wildlife and pocket pets, such as guinea pigs, ferrets, and rabbits.
When not working, Dr. Woodward enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and exploring all the outdoor adventures the New River Gorge has to offer. She resides in Fayetteville with her cat, Hokie. (Source)
