Dr. Kaufman grew up in Casselton, ND. He went to NDSU for undergrad and studied Biochemistry and Microbiology. He graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After working at various clinics in Central and Northern Minnesota he moved back to Fargo in 2012 and started veterinary relief services. He worked as an emergency veterinarian and general practitioner until 2022 when he joined the Prairie Winds Veterinary Center team. Most of Dr. Kaufman’s career has been focused on urgent care, emergency/critical medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and ophthalmology. (Source)
