Eric Martin, DVM MS

Dr. Eric Martin is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his DVM in 1995. While in practice, Dr. Martin also received a Masters in Nutrition in 2001 from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Martin’s 16 year career has encompassed both small and large animal practice. In 2002 Dr. Martin founded Martin Veterinary Services in Knoxville, TN. The practice was a strictly ambulatory practice that was limited to horses. Dr. Martin was hired in the spring of 2011 at UTVMC as an equine ambulatory clinician. His main responsibilities revolve around client service and teaching.

Dr. Martin’s main interests are general health care, equine dentistry, reproduction and metabolic disorders such as Cushing’s and Equine Metabolic Syndrome. (Source)
