F9 Equine Clinic

F9 Equine Clinic was established in May of 2009. The “F9” comes from an old family brand. Although Dr. Fitzgerald grew up in the Houston area, his ancestors have deep roots in Colorado County. In 1824, his grandfather’s great-grandfather, Abraham Alley, came to Texas from Missouri with Stephen F. Austin and settled near the present day town of Columbus, TX. Part of the original Alley homestead has survived the generations and marriages and is today known as the Fitzgerald Ranch. It is the time spent on this land that helped to shape Dr. Fitzgerald’s career goals. He has always wanted to return the family to the Columbus area so he could raise his children on or near the ranch. The F9 brand was first registered in Colorado County in 1860. (Source)
