Flynn Michele Magorian, BVMS

Dr. Flynn Magorian has a strong interest in the care of foals, broodmares, and stallions and for all areas of reproduction. She also enjoys medicine cases and emergencies. Dr. Magorian grew up in Portland, OR. She has ridden most of her life and achieved her B rating in the United States Pony Club. Dr. Magorian completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol in England, then returned to Oregon. Interested in Thoroughbreds, she started working for Ben Root Racing at Portland Meadows as a barn manager and gallop rider. After working for Jack and Cookie’s practice as a veterinary assistant for three years, Dr. Magorian enrolled in the Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Upon graduating in 2012, she completed a yearlong Internship at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center. This is where her love of all things foals and emergency medicine was born. Outside of work, Dr. Magorian and her husband manage a local farm where they build elaborate play structures for their pygmy goats Bart and Nadia, take their Lab on long walks and tend to their fruit garden. If they actually venture off the farm it’s for good food, friends or to travel the world. (Source)
