My love of horses started at a very young age. It wasn’t until the age of twelve that I first climbed onto a horse and have stayed in the saddle ever since. My first horse was Karadjoe, a beautiful green broke Arabian with lots of go. Not a great match for a green rider but a blessing in disguise. He taught me perseverance, hard work, patience and brought me on countless adventures for the next twenty-two years.

A career in equine medicine was always the goal growing up but my inability to stay conscious made it challenging. As such, I defaulted to graduating in Finance and spent the next 15 years pursuing a career in private and public investments. Although my career choice was exciting and successful, I never felt completely fulfilled. (Source)
