Dr. Garrett Metcalf was born and raised in a small agriculture town in northern Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine 2011 and completed his equine internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in 2012. Dr. Metcalf completed his equine surgery residency at Iowa State University in 2015 and then joined the newly formed Pine Ridge Equine Hospital.
Dr. Metcalf and his wife Kaci met in the same veterinary class at Oklahoma State University and shortly after graduation got married in Stillwater, OK. Dr. Metcalf resides in Glenpool, OK with his wife and sons. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, farming and working on projects. Dr. Metcalf professional interests include sports medicine/lameness, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, respiratory surgery and arthroscopic surgery. (Source)
