Dr. Gayle Cummings was born and raised in southern Alberta. From an early age she was passionate about all things animal related. She was able to pursue this professionally by obtaining a degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan. She then went on to complete her DVM degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Since graduation, Dr. Cummings explored the areas of rural and mixed animal practice before focusing on small animal primary care, emergency medicine and urgent care. In her free time, she can be found training her blue heeler for agility, riding one of her horses, or hanging with her chickens on her acreage outside the city. (Source)
