Gianhisy Diaz-Perez, BSc

My name is Gianhisy Diaz-Perez, born and raised in Puerto Rico. Since I was a child I have been very passionate about animals, I always said that I wanted to become a veterinarian and today, I am fortunate enough to say that I am a doctor of veterinary medicine. I started my path at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, where I attained my bachelors degree in Biological Sciences. I graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical year rotations in Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I love going back to my beautiful island Puerto Rico to eat local food and to relax at the beach. I also love riding and grooming horses, it is one of my favorite ways of stress relief.

My goal as a new graduate DVM is to provide my patients with the best health care and gold standard medicine. I am excited to get to know my future new patients and their families, and feel very fortunate to start my career with such a great team here at VCA Henderson Pass Animal Hospital! (Source)
