Membership offers opportunities to compete at reduced rates in MCTA organized events, schoolings etc, Members may also qualify for year end awards at the annual MCTA banquet. Perpetual trophies are awarded to the highest points winner per division. Other member benefits include a monthly newsletter of events, a comprehensive Area 2 Calendar of Events.
An Annual Banquet is held at the end of the year to gather and award the Year End Awards.
The Annual Year End Awards are presented at all levels; from Horse of the Year (both Junior and Senior) recognizing athletes competing at all levels. Ribbons and trophies are awarded. Over $500 worth of Scholarships are given by the Grants Committee on the basis of dedication to the sport, volunteerism, interest in the sport and unique needs.
