Greg Geier

Greg Geier joined McPeek Racing in 2016 as an Assistant Trainer. A longtime resident of Louisiana, his passion for horses began at an early age. Greg started walking horses as an eight-year-old for his father, trainer George Geier who inspired him to learn every facet of the racing industry and fine-tune his training skills. Greg continued training with his father while he pursued business studies at the University of New Orleans. He earned his Assistant Trainer’s license in 1980. Prior to joining McPeek, Greg established his own public stable and successfully trained for multiple Thoroughbred owners in New Orleans and Chicago. (Source)
