The Gum Springs Equestrian Camp is a very popular destination for cowboys and cowgirls from all over Louisiana and other states such as Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Nebraska. This is a great forest ride and the trail is wide enough to accommodate wagons. There is plenty of parking for pickup trucks with trailers. There is also primitive camping, hitching posts, corral, vault toilet, water, and trash disposal. (Source)
