Gustavo Pantano De Cillo, DVM

Born in Brazil, Gustavo De Cillo, dreamed the American dream of owning his business. He grew up with his family owning Quarter horses and enjoyed training horses throughout his younger years. Gustavo worked hard and graduated from Universidade De Marilia- SP Brazil in 1998 ith his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his equine surgery residency at Unsep, Botucatu in Brazil. He journeyed to the USA in 2001 to complete a 2 year US internship at the Brazos Valley Equine Hospital in Navasota, TX. After completing the intense, hands on internship he traveled back to Brazil and opened De Cillo Equine Sports Medicine back in Brazil.

In 2006 he made the life changing decision to close his practice and train to be become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the United States. After completing his needed education he joined Dr. Andrew Currie at Currie Equine Clinic in 2009. During this time he also had two beautiful children, Gianluca and Isabella, as well as gained his US Citizenship. In 2016 Dr. De Cillo purchased Currie Equine Clinic and achieved his American dream. Outside of the veterinary practice Dr. De Cillo enjoys good music, good wine and good food! (Source)
