Dr. Knowles was born and raised in Marion County and has been with the practice for 15 years. He has special interests in shockwave therapy, equine dentistry and acupuncture.
He graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in 2002 and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Unversity of Florida in 2007. In 2010, he completed the equine acupuncture course at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. He lives in Summerfield with his wife, Laforis, and their three children. When Dr. Knowles is not working, he enjoys the beach and spending time with his family. (Source)
