Heather McCrary

Dr. McCrary grew up in western North Carolina where her love of animals was fueled by both of her parents who provided exposure to primarily Saddlebreds and Arabians. In high school and college she worked many odd jobs as barn help, for both Western and English boarding facilities. Dr. McCrary attended Converse College in South Carolina where she joined the IHSA equestrian team and also received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After college she earned her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of Saint Kitts. She completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she developed a passion for surgery. In her free time she loves to hike, cook, scuba dive, and spend time with her dog, Remi. (Source)
