Hope had a great first year in the Open Grand Prix division this year. Her most memorable win was with Hot Chocolate W in the CDI*** at Global! Since Hope was two years old her love for horses has been the main focus in her life. She began riding more seriously when she was 12 years old starting in the FEI children’s division. Hope’s first big win was the Children of Americas Dressage Invitational (CADI) when she was 13 on a pony named Sparrow! Hope then went on to have the number one seat on the Junior team for Region 8 with Don Diamond in 2013. They placed 7th at the Festival of Champions, Juniors, that year. In 2014 she competed for the Region 8 YR team and won the individual bronze medal, as well as helped the Region 8 Young Riders win team bronze. Hope and Diamond also achieved the NEDA year-end award as Champion in YR Freestyle in 2014. In 2016, Hope was the Region 8 PSG and I1 champion with Hot Chocolate W. in the Jr/YR division. She again won the Region 8 Championship for I1 on Hot Chocolate in 2017. Hope also rode for the US Dressage Team in the Maccabi Games in Israel the summer of 2017 on a borrowed horse helping the U.S. team win silver that year. She has successfully trained two horses to Grand Prix; Don Diamond and Hot Chocolate. Hope and Don Diamond have been partners for six years. Hope has trained Diamond from Juniors to U25 Grand Prix, and Chocolate (owned by Mary Mansfield), from 3rd Level to Grand Prix. Both horses qualified in the top 12 in the country for the US national Brentina Cup championship in Lamplight for 2019. Hope brought Hot chocolate to compete at lamplight and placed third in the country overall and second in the freestyle! Hope currently works extensively with Christoph Koschel. Currently Hope is competing the magnificent stallion Flynn PCH in the Open GP and developing two young horses – Tripple and Destar. (Source)
