Horse Tales N Trails

We have been developing a horse of our own understanding for the last 20 plus yrs and have been allowing the horses who spend time here, to be horses first. We have built our way of keeping and tending horses in our care with the horse, its mental and physical state being at the forefront of our endeavors. We have a large pasture where the horses can achieve their 10 km daily walking needs, they drink from the seasonal creek and spring fed pond, have access to quality free choice hay and pasture when in season as well as free choice loose salt and vitamin mineral mix. They have varied terrain and a mix of treed areas as well as open field with hills and flat spots that they share with their mix herd of no more then 14 members. They live outside year round deciding for themselves when, where and with which pasture mate to do horsey things! For their humans, we offer a place to store your tack, the training barn for grooming, tacking and training as well as support if requested as they develop a horse of their own understanding. We seem to attract the horses who have been deemed with behavior problems or difficult to handle – we find the source of the issue and address it.
