Dr. Jackie Porter grew up in rural New Jersey. She graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with a BS in animal and veterinary sciences. She continued her studies at the University of Illinois and graduated in 2019 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she completed an equine internship at Ocean State Equine Associates in Rhode Island. Her professional interests include internal medicine and reproduction.

In her free time, she enjoys sporting clays, hiking with her hound dog Billie and watching Clemson football, Go Tigers! (Source)
