Dr. Jaime Horner grew up in Minnesota riding and competing horses. These experiences developed a strong interest in equine sports medicine so she pursued a career as an equine veterinarian. After graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, her interest in equine sports medicine brought her out East and to Wellington, FL to work with United States and Canadian Olympic Veterinarians for Show Jumping and Eventing. There she traveled extensively nationally and internationally to care for Olympic level athletes and as an FEI treating veterinarian at major competitions to be able to accommodate these horses at top level events.
Dr. Horner has continued to expand her knowledge by becoming certified as an equine acupuncturist through the Chi Institute and participates in the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP).
Dr. Horner is passionate about the equine athlete and her advanced training and knowledge allow her to give the best possible care in sports medicine. (Source)
