James Andrew Gardner, DVM

Dr. Andy Gardner grew up on a farm with horses and cattle just south of Raleigh, NC. He received a BS in Animal Science from North Carolina State University in 1972. He then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1976, along with his wife Dr. Claudia Gardner. In June of 1977 the Gardners moved to Salisbury, NC where they still reside today. In January of 1980 Dr. Andy opened Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, PA, a practice specializing in all aspects of large animal practice with a special emphasis on surgery, reproduction, and lameness.

When Dr. Andy is not working in his practice, he may be found riding his horses or team roping. (Source)
