Dr. Jim McDonald grew up in upstate New York and Reston Virginia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and received his Veterinary degree from Virginia Tech. His specialty interests include dermatology, orthopedic surgery, and geriatric medicine.
Dr. McDonald and his wife, Liz, have five children: Ryan, Megan, Devin, Brittany and T.J. They also have two Golden Retrievers: Paris and Cayman. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, golf, tennis, reading and spending time with the family. (Source)
