Growing up on a working beef cattle farm in south Alabama, Dr. Hank’s large animal experience started at birth. Hank graduated from Auburn University’s College of Agriculture in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences.
This was followed by his DVM from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (Cum Laude) in 2000. His experiences growing up and education, along with the invaluable mentorship of Dr. Woody Ash have defined his current scope of practice.
Though equine lameness and surgery take up the majority of his time, he maintains an active interest in food animal medicine. (Source)
