Dr. Schulze received his D.V.M. degree from Texas A&M University in 1980. Upon graduation, Dr. Schulze moved to Conroe, Texas, and joined a mixed animal practice. Dr. Schulze and a partner established Equine Veterinary Associates in 1982.
Sports medicine and lameness, equine reproduction, and preventative medicine are among Dr. Schulze’s primary interests. Dr. Schulze achieved recognition as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) with certification in Equine medicine in 1990.
Dr. Schulze is involved in many charitable, professional, and community organizations. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. He is a past member of the Willis Independent School District Board of Trustees and is a past member of the Texas Racing Commission. He and his wife, Patty, have five children.
