Dr. Jamie attended Miami University and received a B.A. in Zoology (2009) and a Masters in Molecular Biology (2011). While at Miami she was an avid horseback rider and worked in a Hunter/Jumper barn.
Dr. Jamie attended the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2015). While in vet school Jamie worked as a technician in a small animal emergency clinic (IVRC) and in the test barn with the state veterinarians of Prairie Meadows race track.
Dr. Jamie is certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture (CSU/curacore).
Dr. Jamie attended Parker University in Dallas, Texas to become certified in Veterinary Chiropractic Care. She is certified by the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association). She has also completed a program through Health Pioneer Institute for applied kinesiology.
Dr. Jamie practiced as an equine only vet gaining significant experience in wellness, emergencies, lameness and dentistry before starting her own practice in 2017. She is licensed in the states of Ohio and Kentucky.
Dr. Jamie feels that many forms of alternative care such as chiropractic, acupuncture, laser and herbs can be used in addition to tradition Western medicine to help keep your horses and small animals in the best health and competition shape as possible.
In her free time, Dr. Jamie enjoys being on her farm with her MANY 4 legged companions. She also enjoys yoga, farming, hiking and generally being outside! (Source)
