Dr. Jana Zwetsloot or “Dr. Z,” grew up in Bucksport, Maine, but has strong ties to western and southern Maine. She graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2016 and since then has been working in Maine as a mixed animal practitioner. When not working she spends most of her time outside with her husband, son, dog, cat, and chickens. She also enjoys running, snowboarding, traveling, bird watching, and bad sci-fi. Dr. Z, Dr. McEwen, and Dr. Smith were fellow classmates at UPEI where they developed a strong friendship and together they make a fantastic veterinary trio. (Source)
