Dr. DeLuca, a native New Yorker attributes her career choice to a combination of her two passions: medicine and horses. She has a diverse educational background and years of practical experience. In 1995, Jeannine graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University. Jeannine later completed a Residency in Equine Medicine, Surgery & Theriogenology (Reproduction) at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Dr. DeLuca’s special interest in equine neonatology (foals) compliments her husband’s (Dr. Paul Johnston) specialty of equine reproduction. When not working on client horses, Jeannine can be found working on their breeding farm and raising their daughters. (Source)
