Dr. Jeffery Schroeder grew up locally in Elgin, TX. He earned his Bachelors of Animal Science from Texas A&M University where he managed a cattle operation before going back to Texas A&M to fulfill his dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Schroeder received his BS in Veterinary Science in 1992 and graduated from veterinary school in 1994.
After graduating veterinary school in 1994, Dr. Schroeder returned to Bastrop County to begin working with Bastrop Veterinary Hospital. He became an owner in 1999, and has enjoyed the opportunities and challenges this has provided.
When Dr. Schroeder is not at the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lori, and his sons, Garrett and Grayson. They have a Boston Terrier named Maddie. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and traveling. He especially enjoys getting out to the ranch and traveling around Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. (Source)
