Jennifer C. Posey, DVM

Dr. Posey is a graduate of OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE. She joined PCS in 2004 after spending several years as an associate veterinarian at a busy ambulatory practice on the East Coast.

She is interested in all areas of equine medicine, and is responsible for the dentistry program at PCS. She is an AERC (American Endurance Ride Conference) certified ride veterinarian and is currently on staff for the Foothills of the Cascades ride in Molalla. “In addition, she is certified in veterinary acupuncture with THE INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY ACUPUNCTURE SOCIETY.” Dr. Posey grew up in a Western Saddle, and spent her youth actively involved in 4H and barrel racing. Spending her summers in Idaho, she logged numerous hours in the saddle riding in the mountains with her family and friends. While having a personal horse of her own is on the back burner for a while, horses are still a huge part of her family. Dr. Posey rides whenever she has a chance to visit her father’s ranch in Texas.

She currently lives in Molalla with her husband Ben, their two daughters, Tegan Savannah. and two dogs Maverick and Chandler. (Source)
