Jennifer Cignoni

Jennifer Cignoni, Making Strides Performance Horses has been showing, teaching, and training horses for over 30 years.

Jennifer Cignoni was born in Illinois in 1972. She began her life with animals as a child with the family Poodle, Cairn terrier and Parakeet. Her journey towards a professional career with animals started at seven years old when she began riding horses. After three years of lessons her parents bought her, her first horse, a APHA/PtHA horse named “White Knight” AKA Turkey. Jennifer showed Turkey on the Pinto circuit for 10 years all over the Midwest. During these years she acquired 5 R.O.M’s with the PtHA and won the Western and English Pleasure class at the West Coast Championships all before the age of 14.

She has owned and run Making Strides Performance Horses since 2005. Jennifer is also a carded judge with APHA, PtHA, and POAC for the past 10 years. She was also the past President of the Phoenix Pinto Horse Association. Currently, Mrs. Cignoni holds a seat for Arizona on the Board of Directors for the Pinto Horse Association of America.
