Jennifer M. Melcher, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Melcher is active in all aspects of equine veterinary medicine with an emphasis on dentistry, ophthalmology, acupuncture, and general medicine. Dr. Melcher began working with Dr. Thompson in 2006, and she is equine rehabilitation and performance certified. She received her acupuncture certification from The Chi Institute.

Jennifer received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia College of Arts and Sciences and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Jennifer completed an internship in large animal medicine at the University of Georgia in 2006.

Jennifer is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and began riding horses at the age of seven. She lives in Ball Ground, Georgia with her husband Evan and their sons Nate and Ezra. You can find her competing in the dressage ring with her horses Abe and Bulgari. (Source)
