Dr. Jennifer McDonald joined the Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital team in the spring of 2004. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. McDonald received a Master’s degree in Zoology from Clemson University (Clemson, SC) and a BS degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston (Charleston SC).
In her free time, Dr. McDonald enjoys horseback riding, gardening, fishing, playing volleyball and anything else that has to do with being outside. She lives in Frederick with her husband Jason, a sales manager, and their two daughters, Caroline and Ella. Their family also includes three dogs, Teenie Weenie, Pip, and Attila; two cats, Suga Bee and Yoyo; and several farm animals. (Source)
