Jennifer Whyard

Dr. Whyard’s roots stem from Long Island, New York. Across the pond she attained her Veterinary Degree at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. After vet school, Dr. Whyard completed a two-year hospital internship in the heart of British horseracing country at Newmarket Equine Hospital in the United Kingdom. She then finished a second internship in equine surgery at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency training in Large Animal Surgery at the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine in July 2018, and is a board certified large animal surgeon by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Whyard is keen on all aspects of large animal surgery, and has particular interests in orthopedics, sports medicine, and diagnostic imaging, with specialist training in podiatry and is an FEI permitted treating veterinarian.
