Dr. Shaba graduated from The Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 2015. Following graduation, he completed a one-year field care internship at Hagyard. After his internship he traveled to the southern hemisphere to work the breeding season in Matamata, New Zealand. At the end of his time there he returned to Hagyard Equine as a field care associate. Dr. Shaba enjoys all aspects of equine primary care but has a special interest in reproduction, ophthalmology, and lower airway disease. (Source)
