Jessica Bouton, DVM CVMA BS

I had always wanted to be a veterinarian, but developed my passion for horses later in life. I was deeply involved with the breeding program at the UC Davis Horse Barn which fueled my decision to pursue equine medicine in veterinary school.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and my veterinary degree from UC Davis. My professional interests include emergency and critical care, ambulatory medicine and internal medicine.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy yoga, hiking and board games with my husband and friends. I still do not have a horse of my own but we have a few reptiles and an American Bulldog named Ivory at home. (Source)
