Jessica Clark

Jessica began riding at age 5 at a saddle seat barn in Carmel, IN. When she was 12 she switched to riding hunters and began taking lessons with Wendy Newby at Meadow View Farm.

The following year Jessica began showing with Meadow View and took volunteer jobs in and around Meadow View to learn as much as possible as well as help offset some of her showing and riding expenses.

As her learning progressed, she spent summers and weekends working on the farm and helped school horses until she left for college. Jessica considers herself very lucky that Wendy gave her horses to ride just about every day throughout middle and high school.

Jessica graduated from Carmel High School and went on to earn a degree in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington. During her time at IU she rode on the IU Equestrian team and traveled to intercollegiate shows around the state. After college Jessica began teaching elementary school and pursuing her Masters in School Counseling from Butler University.

Jessica continued to ride and show with Meadow View and began teaching beginner lessons in 2003. Jessica met Amy Tilson at Meadow View Farm and continued to ride and work with Sierra Woods Farm after Amy purchased Meadow View in 2008. (Source)
