Dr. Jessica Honzl Swanson was raised in Minnesota where she enjoyed western pleasure competitions and trail riding with her uncle and aunt. She attended The George Washington University in DC where she studied design and rode for the school’s equestrian team. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 from UC Davis with an equine concentration. Dr. Jess has a passion for emergency medicine in all species as well as a special interest in llamas and alpacas. When she’s not in her vet truck she’s probably out running the trails in Auburn or doing yard work with her husband, cat, and goat. (Source)
