Dr. Peters is a 2010 graduate of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences. She is a member of CVMA, AVMA, and IVAPM and is accredited with the USDA. Dr. Peters grew up on the family farm in central Iowa and developed an early interest in animals and husbandry. After graduating from Regis University in Denver where she received a B.S. in biology, Dr. Peters attended veterinary school at CSU. Her professional interests include pain management, dentistry, and internal medicine. She has taken additional training in dentistry and completed certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in April 2013. Dr. Peters lives in Parker with her one dog, Shiloh and her two Maine Coons, Loki & Ramses. (Source)
