Jo Sweetin

Jo grew up in western New York where she had the opportunity to ride under Tonya Copper as a youth. Growing up she had the opportunity to show and ride just about every discipline and every breed (or at least it seemed like it). Then, she went to Morrisville State College in upstate New York where she earned a bachelor’s degree in equine science. During her last year of school she completed a 15 week internship with Ashley Kelkenberg and was hired as an assistant after. She had the privilege to work for and ride with some amazing trainers throughout her time in Arizona including Ashley Kelkenberg, Dan Huss, Jessica Bein, Tim O’Neal, and Steve Ross. She enjoys training reining horses and coaching non pros to show. Currently she’s here at Steve Ross Reining and Performance Horses, working and learning more about the sales portion of the reining industry. (Source)
