Julia Willemsen offers Equine bodywork through a blend of myofascial release, cranial-sacral techniques, massage, and stress-point release. The emphasis lies on utilizing a variety of tools, so that your horse can be supported with an approach that is best suited for him. Priority is to access and balance the nervous system so that your horse feels safe, which enables the body to find release and relaxation. Only then can we start to unwind trauma, tension, and compensation within the body. Only when feeling safe can positive changes have a long-lasting effect. Julia believes in an all-around approach, including evaluation of the horse’s diet, living environment, exercise, and condition of hooves. These are all aspects that are interconnected and equally important when maintaining or bringing your horse into balance.
