Anne’s daughter, Julie, inherited the same love of horses as her mom and she, too, grew up in the barn, taking care of horses and always helping her mother’s operation in any way she could. Having shown competitively her entire life, Julie’s favorite division is Saddle Seat Equitation, where details and attitude matter the most!

During the time that Anne worked for Saddlebred Rescue, Julie acted as a volunteer to ride and help place rescued horses into their forever homes. This experience helped shape Julie’s philosophy on riding; whether you are on a fancy show horse, or a rescued treasure, every horse is important and can teach us invaluable lessons in and out of the saddle.
