Julie Steinmetz-Usoff

Julie Steinmetz-Usoff is a lifelong resident of Florida. Growing up in West Palm Beach, she began riding at a very early age under the instruction of Paula Scowden. After many years with Paula showing, she began training under Charles and Dana Wooten. She started showing the Hunters in the AQHA show ring. With wins at the prestigious Gold Coast Circuit and others in Florida, she qualified for the 1990 AJQHA World Championship Show in Tulsa, OK in Youth Working Hunter and Youth Jumping with her horse Bit O Country. She also qualified in Senior Working Hunter at the 1990 World Championship Show in Oklahoma City, OK. She also competed at the 1990 All American Quarter Horse Congress in Senior Working Hunter and Youth Working Hunter, with a win in the Youth Working Hunter Class. She also finished out her youth career 2nd in the Nation for Youth Working Hunter. (Source)
