I have been on a horse since I could sit up. Growing up I was in competitions for anything from Western Pleasure to Team Penning to Hunters over Fences, learning from Janet Bedford, Margaret Rich, Debbie Thomas to name a few. As a young adult I worked for Margaret Rich, Jim and Roberta McCarty, Donnie Bricker, and Scott Graham in various different capacities. I have always found that the best horse and rider teams were the ones with a bond deeper than registration papers or a bill of sale. It truely is a relationship and all relationships require 2 key elements: Trust and Respect. To this day that remains at the very core of my approach to training a horse at any level of any discipline. (Source)
