Dr. Kaitlin was born and raised in a southwest suburb of Chicago, where she started riding her Quarter Horse mare, Shawnee, in 4H. She moved to Michigan for college and fell in love with living on this side of Lake Michigan. She and her husband Ryan are enjoying raising their two daughters, Ariana and Kora. In addition to providing retirement for her childhood horse, she also lives with three cats and some chickens. Kaitlin enjoys cooking, gardening, rock climbing, and hiking/camping throughout Michigan and the US. (Source)
